I think with combining skills they mean something like 1st stricking them down with skill X, then use skill Y which will do extra damage and inflict a deep wound to a enemy lying at the ground..

Hmm... Alright. Combining skills works like this....(1st up is what the types are..then how can be combined . ok?)
stance - a character positioning skill..usually defensive or offensive (think boxing after bell rings..but right before they start pummeling each other) preparation - a skill that enhances your attack skills by giving you speed or damage alterations skill - straight up .....a physical attack spell - magic attack hex - a negative(or occasional positive) effecting spell attack...it is not a spell by class..ok enchanment - a negative or positive effect that can be maintained on a target (again....is a spell most times....but important here) OK then. You are a ranger (used for this because I know them best),wanting to attack someone. You want to combine skills? Call your target, hit a stance/enchant skill first,.... then a preparation skill,... then one of your attack skills..follow all that with a spell/hex if you want. Same skills don't stack. Different types of skills stack if they allow it..(blah blah skill..lasts for 10 seconds...adds "this" damage to your attacks) Many different combinations work. I just tried to make it as generic as possible for you so as not to pick out any one objective. |
